A worksheet on self-limiting beliefs

Most scientists step into leadership without anyone telling them how to adapt their behaviour to their new role. This worksheet helps you identify and adapt how you approach work to develop a leadership mindset.

What the worksheet covers

The worksheet helps you tackle four beliefs that come up again and again among scientists in leadership. For example: “My way is the right way.”

For each belief that resonates, you answer two short questions. At the end, you write a reframe: a deliberate shift in what you believe your job is now, and one concrete action to go with it.

If you like the worksheet, consider checking out our courses in the menu at the top of the page. They’re designed for life scientists like you.
